30. team. 76. Ryan Braun’s on-again, off-again thumb issues are doing nothing to help the Brewers and word that the injury will likely plague him the rest of his career certainly won’t help move him now. Perhaps that is what Jean Segura has become the most talked about player the Brewers could trade this summer, with the Mets being the most tied to him thus far.. . Previous: . Milwaukee Brewers

The Phillies appear ready to move Jonathan Papelbon, but the question remains what they’ll get in return. Philadelphia badly needs to get younger, but needs talent that is close to Major League ready in order to replenish their system. Papelbon may bring in one piece, but I find it difficult to imagine they’d get two quality players in return.. . Previous: . Philadelphia Phillies. 29. team. 6

82. The Marlins got swept out of Toronto, but Giancarlo Stanton had a huge series. In 11 at-bats, Stanton tallied two doubles, three home runs, four runs scored, and four RBI. Unfortunately, he was a one man offensive machine, as the rest of the Marlins offense slept through the series, something Stanton may have to get used to as this season progresses.. . Previous: . Miami Marlins. 28. team

team. 96. The signing of Billy Butler this offseason was a classic Billy Beane move, with the GM trying to resurrect the career of a high-OBP hitter and hope that he could become a huge contributor. Unfortunately, Butler has struggled to find consistency and power, slashing .250/.300/.347 with just four home runs in 2015. Not exactly what the A’s thought they’d be getting.. . Previous: . Oakland Athletics. 27

Colorado Rockies. 26. team. 108. Second baseman D.J. LeMahieu looked like he was one of those early season fantasy baseball stars that would quickly cool off, but that hasn’t been the case. He continues to pile on base hits and hitting a cool .348/.398/.451 on the season. Granted, he still exhibits an astronomically high BABIP of .410 and regression is likely, but he’s shown some solid staying power.. . Previous:
