  • Gerrit Cole (PIT) home vs. PHI for $10,700: Cole (9-2, 1.73 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 86 Ks in 78 IP) has averaged an impressive 33.1 FP in his last 4 starts. The Pirates are a massive -260 favorite at home vs. the Phillies, who score a league low 3.1 runs per game. Cole, who leads the league in ERA, has been dominant all year and there is no reason to think that will stop today against the Phillies.

Jacob deGrom (NYM) home vs. ATL for $10,500: DeGrom is putting together a great season for the Mets, going 7-4 with a 2.42 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 81 Ks in 78 IP so far in 2015. He has been extremely dominant lately with an eye-popping 34.5 FPPG in his last 4 starts. Expect that to continue today vs. the Braves at home in pitcher-friendly CitiField. In deGrom’s young career he is 2-1 in 3 starts vs. the Braves with a 2.00 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 29 Ks in only 18 IP.

  • Zack Grienke (LAD) at SD for $10,500: Grienke is putting up Cy Young numbers in 2015, with a 5-1 record, 1.92 ERA and .095 WHIP.  He takes the mound tonight in favorable PetCo Park against a Padre team he has dominated this year in 2 starts,  allowing just one run in 14 1/3 IP while averaging 25.35 FPPG. The Dodgers are a big -160 road favorite as well.

    C. J. Wilson (LAA) home vs. OAK for $8,200: Wilson (3-5, 3.92 ERA, 1.17 WHIP) is having an up and down year, but looks to rebound against the 25-38 As at home. Wilson has averaged 7 strikeouts a game in his last 4 starts. The Angels are a  -140 favorite at home and the As are 28th in batting vs. LHP with a .227 mark.

General Hitter Suggestions for June 13

The is definitely a day to spend your money in Starting Pitching and find value picks with the bats. My suggestion is to choose from the following stacks: 1) Pirates vs. Sean O’Sullivan (PHI) at PNC Park, 2) Red Sox vs. R. A. Dickey (TOR) at Fenway Park, or 3) Orioles vs. C.C. Sabathia (NYY) at Camden Yards.

    More from FanSided

Then you can comb the starting lineups for value players with lower salaries to get under the cap.  My suggestions is to target spot starters, platoon hitters, and/or hitters moving up in the batting order.

    Good Luck!
