6. Carlos Gonzalez-OF-Colorado Rockies: As the Rockies finish their trip to the Sunshine state before heading to Houston, Gonzalez will face a familiar foe in Dan Haren. CarGo is 9-23 (.391) in his career against Haren including three doubles, an impressive four home runs, and seven RBI.
5. Alex Gordon-OF-Kansas City Royals: The I-95 interleague series wraps up this afternoon as the Royals look to avoid the sweep at the hands of their in-state rivals, the Cardinals. One hitter who will be key to their attack against John Lackey today will be Alex Gordon who is 7-14 (.500) with a pair of doubles, a pair of home runs, and four RBI against Lackey in their previous meetings.
4. Manny Machado-3B-Baltimore Orioles: Machado’s track record against today’s starter for the Yankees isn’t as long as everyone else’s on this list. However, his 6-7 (.857) with a double and a pair of RBI make him worth a long look as you search for production from a tricky 3B slot.
