You’re never going to believe this, but Michael Jordan thinks he’s still very good at basketball
By Ian Levy
We’re not here to start this debate right now, but suffice it to say, Michael Jordan is one of the best basketball players of all time. His supreme confidence in his abilities is one of the main reasons he was able to lead the Chicago Bulls to six titles in the 1990s.
It’s also why he thinks that despite being 52 years old, he could still beat some of the Hornets players in one-on-one.

"L’Equipe: Do you think you can play against some of your guys right now? Do you sometimes do that or not? Could you win on one-on-ones against them?Jordan: I’m pretty sure I can, so I don’t want to do that and demolish their confidence. So I stay away from them, I let them think they’re good…but I’m too old to do that anyway."
Which, regardless of whether or not that’s true, what is the point of saying that? Like, honestly, what is the point?
I guess you just have to chalk this one up to Michael being Michael. It’s how he got to where he did, and it’s how he’ll always be.
