My selections are tailored toward DraftKings scoring system but these picks can also be helpful in H2H formats with daily rosters where some of my recommended players may be available to pick up off the Waiver Wire. Also, a majority of these selections would also be recommended for FanDuel, but you should first understand the differences between each baseball scoring system before plugging players in both.

Here are my best picks for DraftKings lineups in the full slate of MLB Games on Tuesday, June 23rd. The evening slate (all 15 MLB games) starts at 7:05 p.m. while the Turbo contests (5 games) starts at 8:05 p.m. and Late contests (3 games) starts at 10:05 p.m.

Good Luck!

Next: Pitchers

Pitchers:

Madison Bumgarner (SF) home vs. SD for $11,200: Bumgarner (7-4, 20.7 FPPG) has been top-notch for the Giants, putting up very good numbers: 3.09 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 88 K in 93 1/3 IP. He has been especially dominant of late, averaging over 28 FPPG in his last 3 starts. He and the Giants are a big -175  favorite tonight vs. the Padres at home, where Bumgarner had a fine 30.7 FP outing against them on 5/4. Although he is the 2nd priciest SP tonight, Bumgarner is a safe bet to get you around 30 FP tonight.

Chris Archer (TB) home vs. TOR for $9,800: The young, talented Rays righty has been has been extremely effective in 2015 with a 8-4 record and 2.18 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and an eye-popping 116 K in 95 IP. He has averaged 24.9 FPPG this year and has been very consistent lately, going 5-0 in his last 8 starts. The Rays are a -160  favorite at home vs. the Blue Jays and the Vegas run line is a low 7. Archer is a première fantasy pitcher and is a steal here at less than $10,000.

  • 2B Jose Altuve (HOU) at LAA (C.J. Wilson) for 3,900: Altuve (.287, 5 HR, 6 SB, 7.8 FPPG in 64 games) returned from a four game absence has had a solid 7 FP performance on Monday. His hamstring appears to be good again but the recent injury has dropped his salary way down into the 3000s. Take advantage of this tonight as Altuve is 9 for 29 with 2 HRs vs. Wilson, especially if he is back in the top or middle of the Astros lineup.

3B/2B Aaron Hill (ARZ) at COL (Kendrick) for $3,900: The veteran Diamondback has a good matchup tonight vs. Kyle Kendrick, who he his 8 for 14 against lifetime. Hill has averaged 8 FPPG in his last 3 starts and is playing tonight at Coors Field where he has a career .345 BA and .938 OPS.  At $3,900 Hill is a bargain here and also should be considered as part of an Arizona stack.

    Outfielders:

OF Kole Calhoun (LAA) home vs. HOU (McHugh) for $3,700: Calhoun (.263 BA, 6 HRs, 4 SB) is on a modest 3 game hitting streak and has a good L/R matchup vs. McHugh. The young OF will most likely be batting 2nd against the Astro righty, against whom he is .333 (5 for 15) in his career.

OF Billy Hamilton (CIN) at PIT (Locke) for $4,200: The Reds speedy OF (7.8 FPPG) has been more efficient on the base paths this season with 31 steals in 36 attempts. He faces lefty Jeff Locke (5 for 11 against with a SB) and he will be batting righty which has been his better side (.252 vs .208) in 2015. In a game where the Reds will be looking to manufacture runs, Hamilton is a good bet to get on base and wreak havoc.
