player. 110.

Small forward is and has been a massive need for the Heat ever since LeBron James burned them and returned to Cleveland this past summer. Filling that void was attempted in the signing of Luol Deng but the end result was missing the postseason for the first time in five years and disappointment across the board.

Adding Sam Dekker could fill that void for the Heat and provide the frontcourt with a dangerous scoring threat. Dekker isn’t known as a defensive savant by any means, but such a trait can be taught. What is harder to learn is scoring, and that’s something the Wisconsin forward already knows how to do.

He rose fast in the draft, and Miami could be torn between Dekker and Stanley Johnson if both fall to them in the draft.
. SF. Wisconsin. Sam Dekker. 10
