Emmanuel Mudiay. 6. player. 67.
The Sacramento Kings have been looking for a long-term replacement at point guard for basically their entire existence, which is why it has so unbelievable that they’ve wasted draft picks on two-guards. Emmanuel Mudiay is a mystery and has a ton of work to do before he’s a star at the NBA level, but the Kings would be truly insane to pass on him.

Mudiay is far from a sure thing, but he’s the closest thing the Kings have come to possibly fixing their hole at guard for years. He’s played in a pro league for a year, knows the grind of traveling and has international experience — all valuable assets in a rookie player.

Sacramento can take Mudiay, but it’s up to George Karl to not let him fall into the abyss that has claimed so many other promising guards the Kings have taken before.
.
