The Nuggets need to rebuild after throwing all their fuel overboard during the season while simultaneously having a fire-sale with players like Ty Lawson and Kenneth Faried. There will probably be takers for those two players before the offseason is over and adding Justise Winslow is the first step in making sure the future is secure.

He’s not going to light it up in his first season, but there’s a long-term potential with Winslow that could lead to the Nuggets finally having a franchise player to build around. If they can go out and add more picks by trading Faried or Lawson and continue to grow a young core, things might look up for Denver sooner than we’re all expecting.

That’s a lot to put on the shoulders of Winslow, but he’s the type of prospect the Nuggets need and won’t pass on if he falls to them.
. SF. Duke. Justise Winslow. 7. player. 73
