A look at the order of selections on Friday night in round one of the 2015 NHL Draft

Friday night one of the most exciting events in all of hockey will take place, as we find out where some of the best young talent on the ice will call their professional home. Indeed, this means that it’s time for the NHL Draft to take place.

The festivities get kicked off at 7 PM ET on Friday night at the BB&T Center with all the action of Round 1. Rounds 2-7 will all take place throughout the day on Saturday, but the best new prospects will be showcased on Friday evening.

To get things started, the Edmonton Oilers will be on the clock as they continue to try and revamp this once proud franchise. With the selection of Connor McDavid, they’re hoping that they finally found the solution to this problem.

Following the selection of the Oilers on Friday night, the Buffalo Sabres will take their turn, followed by the Arizona Coyotes, Toronto Maple Leafs and finally the Carolina Hurricanes to round out the top five in the first round order.

It should be quite the evening at the NHL Draft on Friday night to get the event kicked off, and here’s a look at the complete order of selections that you will see in Round 1:
