This past Thursday when Karl-Anthony Towns went No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft, many assumed that Jahlil Okafor would be next to go, being chosen by the Los Angeles Lakers. Well, things didn’t quite work out that way. Point guard D’Angelo Russell ended up heading off to the Lakers, which ended up putting Okafor next with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Of course, that was a move that not many saw coming, and that probably includes Okafor as well. For the longest time he, like us, was lead to believe that he would be the No. 2 overall pick, at the very least. So you can assume that he wasn’t too pleased when he found out that he was going to the lowly 76ers.

Well, if the way he treated his new jersey at the introductory press conference is any indication, then he might not be all that happy.

Check out the way that he just drops the new threads down like a used napkin when the festivities came to a close.

Yes, Jahlil, please try to contain all that excitement that’s building up there. No, you don’t get to play with Kobe Bryant and Julius Randle, but you get cheesesteaks. There’s a thing that can happen in Philly.
