Greg Monroe

The Knicks have long been linked to Greg Monroe, and it’s a match that could be made in heaven. New York needs help in their frontcourt and adding a big man like Monroe will shore up some massive issues.

Carmelo Anthony has the offensive portion of things locked down, but Phil Jackson needs a big body in his triangle scheme. It’s yet to be determined if Monroe fits into that, but there’s obvious mutual interest both ways and the Knicks adding Monroe is a move that almost seems like it needs to happen.

There are pitfalls here, mainly being that anything the Knicks touch instantly turns to dust.

Hopefully, Monroe can work out for New York. Something needs to go right even if history is practically never on your side.
