Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers (5 years, $110 million)

In one of the most dramatic ways possible, Kevin Love announced on Wednesday that he would be staying with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the foreseeable future. With many thinking he’d just call the Big Three experiment with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving a bust after just one year and go off to be a star on his own somewhere else, this move shocked some people.

Now you would think that with Love’s name recognition he might be higher up on this list, but that’s not really the case. While Love did start to turn it on down the stretch last season before his shoulder injury, the Cavaliers won two games in the NBA Finals against a very good Golden State Warriors team without him on the floor.

Still, though, that was his first season with the Cavaliers and now he’ll have time to focus on gelling more and more with his teammates in Cleveland going forward. We might be getting a different, much better version of Love in Cleveland next season and beyond.
