Welcome to this week’s edition of fantasy baseball waiver wire. It is our goal here at Fantasy CPR to give you the best and most up to date advice for all of your fantasy sports needs. Our advice here is based on standard ten-team leagues with a 5×5 scoring setup. To qualify for an add here a player has to be under 50% ownership in ESPN.com leagues. The players are not necessarily listed in order here, but I will mention if I think a player is an add in larger leagues and not in ten-team leagues quite yet.
Adam Lind, Brewers (46.4%): Lind is a great add if you are looking for and needing some cheap power. Over the last month he is batting .323 and has four bombs with 21 RBI. Those are some decent numbers and make for a solid add in all leagues, particularly in leagues with 12 teams or more.
Brett Lawrie, Athletics (41.9%): Lawrie is not the best player out there, but he is a solid add in ESPN leagues with 2B and 3B eligibility. He should be able to help your fantasy team reach it’s goals.
Randal Grichuk, Cardinals (33.0%): Grichuk has been on a tear ever since he settled into the full time left field job for the Cardinals. Over the last month he has batted .273 with five homers, 12 RBI, and two stolen bases. He is one that you need to add before someone else does.
Billy Butler, Athletics (31.7%): Butler is playing a lot better than you probably think unless you are an Athletics fan. He has really started to heat up over the past four games and probably should be owned in 12-team and larger leagues.
Trevor Plouffe, Twins (31.0%): Plouffe is not going to win you your league, but he is a solid add at the hot corner. He has hit safely in eight of his last nine games and you could certainly do a lot worse if you are in need at 3B. He is improving his batting average and has hit a few home runs as well.

Cesar Hernandez, Phillies (30.8%): There is a good chance that Hernandez has already been plucked from your waiver wire, but if he has not you need to move now and add him to your roster. Don’t ask questions or wonder why, just run and don’t walk to your league’s waiver wire.
Marlon Byrd, Reds (23.1%): Byrd is starting to heat up and makes for a pretty solid add across most formats. He has hit in all seven of his last games and has hit two home runs in that span. I would ride him while he is hot and I will possibly be using him in some daily leagues as well.
