6. Interesting regime change going on in Philadelphia with Ryne Sandberg stepping down as manager and Andy McPhail being named club president. The first business is to find some buyers for the club’s many moving parts and getting a fresh start. That should include replacing Ruben Amaro, but that will likely wait until after the season is over. . . Previous: . Philadelphia Phillies. 30. team

Milwaukee Brewers. 29. team. 76. After losing 8-of-9, the Brewers have come back and won 6-of-8. It’s this type of Jekyll and Hyde performance that has characterized Milwaukee in 2015. They have some nice pieces to build around, but this is a team without identity and without the ability to pick itself up over long stretches. Braun, Segura, Garza, K-Rod, and basically anyone not named Nelson, Fiers, or Lucroy will be in play.. . Previous:

28. team. 128. Chris Sale finished up a fantastic month of June by throwing a 12-K, eight inning no-decision on Tuesday night. In 44 innings in June, Sale allowed just nine earned runs (1.83 ERA) and fanned 75. For his efforts, he took home two wins, two losses, and two no decisions. Think he wants some run support?. . Miami Marlins. 27. team. 82. The Marlins will get a much-needed shot in the arm when they get ace Jose Fernandez back on the mound on Thursday. The right-hander is making his long-awaited return from Tommy John surgery and if he can be a shadow of his former self, he’ll be a big boost to their rotation. It’s a lost year in Miami, but a healthy Fernandez could be a solid building block toward 2016.. . Previous: +1st

Boston Red Sox. 26. team. 14. Boston has already demoted Joe Kelly from the rotation to the bullpen, and now they face a much tougher decision with Rick Porcello. The pair of right-handers were thought to be important members of the team’s rotation, both this year and in the future. However, they have a combined 6-13 record and a 5.53 ERA in 2015, and that was before Porcello got lit up by Toronto on Wednesday.. . Previous: +1st
