FanDuel Picks For July 5
Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.
NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.
Here are my FanDuel picks for July 5:
Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options
Jun 30, 2015; San Diego, CA, USA; Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Mike Montgomery (37) pitches during the first inning against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park. Mandatory Credit: Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports
Pitcher Options:
Mike Montgomery, Mariners ($7,600): Montgomery is one of my favorite pitchers to use tomorrow. He has been brilliant over the past few starts scoring 23 and 20 fantasy points. He is the classic example of riding a guy while they are hot. His numbers look really pretty decent over his last five of six starts having scored close to ten fantasy points in those contests. He is a guy that I would certainly use across formats for Sunday’s games.
Colby Lewis, Rangers ($6,600): Lewis is probably not a guy who is going to score 20 fantasy points for you, but he is a solid bet to get you at least ten fantasy points. He has done that in three of his past four contests and stands a good chance to get us ten or more fantasy points in a home game against the Angels in Sunday’s games as well.
Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options
June 26, 2015; Anaheim, CA, USA; Los Angeles Angels first baseman Albert Pujols (5) before playing against the Seattle Mariners at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Mandatory Credit: Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports
Infield Hitter Options:
Cesar Hernandez, Phillies ($3,000): Hernandez is a solid and inexpensive option for Sunday’s game. He is one of the hottest hitting infielders in baseball right now. He is a solid bet to get us at least 3 or 4 fantasy points and for a very cheap price tag of $3,000. That is the kind of odds that you want in a daily fantasy league and it will also leave us some extra cash to use some more expensive players as well.
Albert Pujols, Angels ($4,200): Pujols is a somewhat pricey option for tomorrow, but I like the odds that he gives us. He is playing pretty well lately and he has had solid success against Rangers pitcher Colby Lewis. Lifetime against Lewis he sports a .412 average with two home runs and 5 RBI.
Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options
Jul 3, 2015; Arlington, TX, USA; Los Angeles Angels center fielder Mike Trout (27) and right fielder Kole Calhoun (56) celebrate scoring on a single hit by shortstop Erick Aybar (not pictured) during the second inning at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports
Outfield Hitter Options:
Gerardo Parra: Brewers ($3,000): Parra is hitting the ball really well lately. He also has been great against Mike Leake over his career. Over that span he has been 6/16 with a home run and 6 RBI. With the price tag of $3,000 that will also be another player where we have good odds and it also leaves us with extra cash to use on the big name players that have good odds to hit well.
Mike Trout, Angels ($5,000): Trout is obviously one of the best hitters in the game, but with the money we have saved throughout, this is a great time to use him. He has been solid over his career against Lewis with two home runs, seven RBI and a stolen base. He is a great option for Sunday’s games and should pay off nicely for us.
As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
