7. Joe Mauer-1B-Minnesota Twins: The Twins and Royals have split the first two games of their four-game AL Central set. Today, Joe Mauer and the Minnesota lineup face Joe Blanton.  Mauer has had success against him in the past going 11-27 (.407) with two doubles, a home run, and two RBI against the veteran righty.

6. Jose Bautista-OF-Toronto Blue Jays: After almost being no-hit, the Blue Jays came on strong late despite falling just short in their 8-6 loss to Detroit. Today, they’ll have to try and solve David Price if they want to even the weekend series.  However, Jose Bautista has had no problem with Price in his career going 15-47 (.319) with five home runs, two doubles, and 11 RBI.

5. Omar Infante-2B-Kansas City Royals: After a walk-off win last night, the Royals look to make it two in a row against Minnesota as they face Mike Pelfrey.  Omar Infante has an extended history against Pelfrey which has mostly gone his way.  Infante is 16-39 (.410) with a double and three RBI in their previous meetings.

4. Adrian Beltre-3B-Texas Rangers: In an AL West matchup tonight, the Rangers look to even their series with the Angels after losing last night 8-2.  Tonight, they’ll face Hector Santiago which could mean a big night for Adrian Beltre since he is 7-20 (.350) with two doubles, three home runs, and three RBI against Santiago in his career.
