FanDuel Picks For July 6

More from Fantasy

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for July 6:

Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options

Jun 14, 2015; Detroit, MI, USA; (Editors note: Caption correction) Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco sits in dugout during the third inning against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park. Mandatory Credit: Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Pitcher Options:

Carlos Carrasco, Indians ($9,700): Carrasco has been brilliant over his last several starts. If you take away the two point dud against the Orioles on June 2 then he has been really good over the last month or so. Tomorrow he faces off against the equally hot Dallas Keuchel. I would be incline to use either guy, but for this game I opted for the home pitcher and the guy who was a little bit cheaper as well.

Mark Buehrle, Blue Jays ($7,600): If you are just a little bit of a gambler and are looking to preserve some of your draft dollars for offense then Buehrle is your guy. He has delivered double-digit fantasy points in six of his last seven starts and should be good to go for this contest against the White Sox.

Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options

  • Jose Abreu, White Sox ($3,800): Abreu is playing pretty well over his last several games. He also has faced off pretty well against Buehrle going 3/7 against him. He should be a petty safe bet to hit safely and could get us some HRs and RBI as well.

Trevor Plouffe, Twins ($2,900): I always like to give you an option for a player in this price range so you can save up your money to use the big name players. Most successful lineups will find some big name players and some cheaper guys who go off and have a good day. Plouffe sports a solid 4/11 with a homer and 4 RBI against Wei-Yin Chen. At this price if he can give us three or four fantasy points I like our chances.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Jun 19, 2015; Philadelphia, PA, USA; St. Louis Cardinals right fielder Jason Heyward (22) runs the bases against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. The St. Louis Cardinals won 12-4. Mandatory Credit: Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Jason Heyward. Cardinals ($3,400): Heyward has been on a pretty decent tear lately. He also gets Cubs pitcher Jon Lester in Wrigley Field, a pitcher who he is familiar with and has had nice success against. He has gone 8/15 against him with a HR and a stolen base. Feel free to deploy Heyward against the Cubs tomorrow.

Melky Cabrera, White Sox ($2,600): Cabrera is another inexpensive player that I like for Monday’s games. He is playing really well lately and still has a pretty cheap price tag. he has hit safely in six of his last seven games and is very familiar with Blue Jays pitcher Mark Buehrle. Over his career he has hit two homers and has seven RBI with a .567 average in 30 at-bats.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
