Report: Giants’ Jason Pierre-Paul injured in fireworks accident

According to a report, New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul injured himself shooting off fireworks.
Every year for the Fourth of July, Americans either set off fireworks or go to see them professionally done. While fireworks are fun, they’re dangerous because they’re basically explosives.
During this year’s independence day celebrations it looks like New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is amongst those that injured himself according to Andy Slater of WINZ in Miami. Slater says Pierre-Paul reportedly suffered a severe hand injury.

Eventually a picture of a U-Haul full of fireworks related to Jason Pierre-Paul was found on Twitter.
She did in fact tweet about lighting fireworks with Pierre-Paul.
Other neighbors also tweeted out images of a U-Haul van filled with fireworks.
Andy Slater is reportedly letting other’s uncover the details that will likely come out over the next few days.
There is this interesting tweet about Pierre-Paul’s injury from an unconfirmed source on Twitter.
The interesting wrinkle here is that Pierre-Paul hasn’t signed his franchise tender yet and isn’t under contract.
