Report: DeAndre Jordan left Clippers because of Chris Paul
By Josh Hill
The Los Angeles Clippers are screwed without a big man, something DeAndre Jordan probably knew when he chose to burn them for the Dallas Mavericks.

DeAndre Jordan is no longer going toe playing for the Clippers, and we don’t have to look very hard to find out why he left for Dallas.
For starters, the Clippers championship window is a lot smaller than that of the Mavericks. Dallas has Dirk Nowitzki, an owner hellbent on getting another ring and the talent on the roster to make it all happen. Jordan is a big part of that, but there’s another thing that has Jordan wanting to get out of Los Angeles — Chris Paul.
A report from a few days ago from ESPN’s Kevin Arnovitz highlighted problems that the Clippers and Jordan were having. Notably, and unsurprisingly if you’ve paid attention to them at all, Chris Paul was at the center of the issue.
"He was tired of Paul’s constant barking and petty gestures, like distributing high-fives to the three other guys on the floor following a timeout but somehow freezing out Jordan. Optics aside, the biggest issue for Jordan was that, despite the leaps and bounds he made to be named first team all-defense, the Clippers always treated him like the player he was when he arrived in the NBA, and never like the player he’d become."
This isn’t the first time that Chris Paul has been named as a culprit in making DeAndre Jordan not want to play in Los Angeles moving forward. It’s very clear that whatever smoke screen that was being sent out about the Clippers having a decent chance to sign Jordan was bogus, as Chris Paul seems to be the very reason that Jordan wanted out of Los Angeles and his being there wasn’t helping their pitch at all.
