Lackey has four straight quality starts allowing two runs or less while going at least seven innings in each of those outings.  Lackey doesn’t get a ton of strikeouts, but he has a good offense behind him and has already started against the Cubs twice this season going 1-0 with a 1.84 ERA.. St. Louis Cardinals. @ Cubs. John Lackey. 4. player. 32

Keuchel shut out the Royals for eight innings allowing seven hits and striking out seven to improve to 10-3 on the season.  While he doesn’t strike out a batter per inning (102 K’s in 124.1 innings), he still is emerging as a true Ace based on his 2.03 ERA and WHIP under 1.00. Look for him to keep it rolling as he faced the Indians tonight. The only slight cause for concern is that he is on the road (2-3, 3.14 ERA) instead of at home at the juice box (8-0 1.24 ERA).. Houston Astros. @ Indians. Dallas Keuchel. 2. player. 135
