In NBA Summer League action on Wednesday, the Charlotte Hornets took on the Orlando Magic down in Florida. Of course, former Kentucky star Aaron Harrison is trying to show everyone they made a mistake in not drafting him as the Hornets give him this opportunity, and he did a solid job of that on Wednesday.
Well, all expect for one play in the second quarter that didn’t make him look all that great.
With the second quarter winding down on Wednesday, Harrison tried to drive to the hoop and complete the monster throw down, just like he was still at Kentucky. You know, the place where he made everything look so easy at times. This play turned out to be anything by easy, though, as he was met at the rim and violently stuffed by Keith Benson.
Yeah, Aaron, things aren’t going to be as easy as they were in Lexington when you, your twin brother Andrew and the rest of your teammates were tearing through the country. Even in Summer League action, the difficulty level is upped just a bit.
Again, though, overall Harrison didn’t have a bad day, finishing the game as the leading scorer for the Hornets with 15 points.
