One of the more anticipated events of the entire summer in sports is set to take place on Monday as some of the best sluggers in the game will get together for the Home Run Derby. The festivities will take place this year in Cincinnati inside the Great American Ballpark, and it’s sure to be exciting as always.

Well, actually, it’s probably going to be a little more exciting this year because of the new format. For the first time ever, we will have a single-elimination tournament with timed rounds, which will make everything go a little more smoothly than they did before.

Of course, with the new format that means that we get the one thing that everyone loves in sports — a bracket! Well, the match ups were officially announced on Wednesday and here’s a look at what we’re going to see come Monday in Cincinnati.

Right off the bat here, how can you possibly not get excited about seeing Albert Pujols square off against Kris Bryant to start things off. One of the best home run hitters of this generation against one of the best up-and-coming rookies that we have seen in quite some time? Yes, please, we’ll certainly take that.

But the other match ups are no slouches by any stretch, and there’s no doubt that this should be a great event on Monday night in the 2015 Home Run Derby with the field that’s been set here.
