While everyone thought it was awesome, Kobe Bryant seems to be a bit confused about all the fuss over a Twitter emoji battle

Things in the NBA Free Agency world got really, really weird on Wednesday. First there was the news that DeAndre Jordan may be re-thinking his decision to sign with the Mavericks and a return to the Clippers might be imminent. Then, among some of the players on each team, a little Twitter emoji war broke out. Of course, everyone thought this was amusing, and some even sarcastically chimed in with some internet pictures of their own.

But Kobe Bryant? Nah, man, he’s got no time for that whatsoever. As a matter of fact, he seems to not be all that interested whatsoever in a pesky Twitter emoji war.

You rascal kids, you get out of Kobe Bryant’s internet right now with your little picture wars, he’s not interested whatsoever. Kobe Bryant doesn’t participate in free agency with childish pictures.

Well, actually, Kobe really doesn’t do much in free agency at all. Hell, when LaMarcus Aldridge was in town last week for a visit, Kobe dropped in to talk for a whopping three minutes.

So, at this stage in his career, free agency isn’t all that important to him, much less to take the time to type out some emojis on his phone. Or –and this might be a stretch here– he might legitimately be asking what’s going on today. Knowing that Kobe troll mode, though, that’s probably not the case.

It didn’t take long, though, for Kobe to figure it out and drop the mic on everyone.
