NBA Free Agency Winners: 7 teams that will make deep playoff runs
By Josh Hill
When the offseason started, the Milwaukee Bucks looked like a team that could be on the upswing, but they fixed things in a much quicker manner than we all thought they would. Jason Kidd had a talented team down the stretch of the season last year and ended up in the postseason as the No. 6 seed.
From that jumping off point, the Bucks looked like they were already going to be a much improved team in 2015-16, but they made moves this summer to get even better than we thought they’d be. They put together a draft that wasn’t a knockout but they made moves that will no doubt make them contenders next season.
The addition of Greivis Vásquez was a surprise move that gives the Bucks a veteran shooter who can help Jason Kidd’s rotations and the offense. That being said, the best move of the offseason for the Bucks was the surprise signing of Greg Monroe. Not only does the signing validate the Bucks in more ways than one, it gives them a massive body to become a part of a core that could be dangerous in the East this season.
