FanDuel Picks For July 10

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel picks for July 10:

Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options

Jun 18, 2015; Atlanta, GA, USA; Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Clay Buchholz (11) throws a pitch against the Atlanta Braves in the sixth inning at Turner Field. Mandatory Credit: Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

Pitcher Options:

Clay Buchholz, Red Sox (8,600): Buchholz has been marvelous over his last four starts. Over that span he has only given up a total of one run per game and also had 23 strikeouts over those four games. I had expected to see FanDuel raise the price on Buchholz coming into the games for Friday. He is the guy I will be using in my lineups for tomorrow.

Mike Montgomery, Mariners ($7,800) If you want to spend a little less money, then the option I would want is Mike Montgomery. He has been pretty good over his past three starts. His fantasy points have been in the 20s for two of those games with a little over ten in his last game. I would rather pay the extra money and use Buchholz, but if you find yourself wanting to pinch some pennies then Montgomery is a solid alternative.

  • Neil Walker, Pirates ($3,300): Walker has been playing like the Walker of old lately. He has been really hot. He also has a pretty solid career mark against Cardinals’ pitcher Lance Lynn. Over his career he has hit for a .294 average with two home runs and eight RBI. At this price tag it makes for a pretty safe bet to use Walker in your lineups on 7/10.

Joe Mauer, Twins ($2,600) Mauer has been playing pretty well over the past month and now he gets a pitcher he is very familiar with. The name would have scared you last year, but with the way Justin Verlander has pitched this year plus the career mark Mauer own against him makes him a very safe play at this price tag. Over his career he has gone 24/65 for a .369 average with three home runs and ten RBI.

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Matt Kemp, Padres ($3,000): Kemp has not been spectacular this season, but he has been pretty solid over his past couple of games and a little better over this past month or so. He just hit a home run on the eighth and has a pretty good career mark against Rangers starter Wandy Rodriguez. In 24 at-bats he has gone .250 with a home run and 7 RBI.

Hunter Pence, Giants ($3,000): Pence has been out of the lineup for around a month until Tuesday July 7. Since then he has hit safely an his last two games and as long as he takes the field for the game on the tenth he should continue to do so. Pence is pretty familiar against Phillies’ pitcher Cole Hamels going .250 against him with an RBI and two stolen bases.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck.
