Adam Schefter rocked the boat on Wednesday when he tweeted the medical records of Jason Pierre-Paul, something James Harrison took exception to.

Jason Pierre-Paul has had a rough week. He began the Fourth of July weekend with ten fingers but wouldn’t make it to the next weekend with the same number of digits. A fireworks accident sent the defensive end to the hospital and on Wednesday he had his right index finger amputated.

The reason for the amputation, which was at the behest of JPP, was so that his hand would heal faster and he could return to the football field sooner. That wasn’t the

After Schefter broke news that JPP had a finger amputated by releasing his medical records on Twitter, James Harrison had some choice words for the ESPN insider.

It wasn’t unethical of Schefter to release the information he did, but it was still met with serious criticism from those who already probably don’t like Schefty or being good at his job. That’s really what this all comes down to — people don’t like Schefter for the access he has and how he’s always on top of the news.

Then again, this was a very unique case as far as breaking news went. This wasn’t a trade or a signing that Schefter was reporting, it was someone’s personal and private medical records.

Still, it’s on the medical professional who leaked the information to Schefter that is in hot water, not the person who spread it to the masses. That doesn’t mean Harrison can’t have an opinion on the matter — and a strong one at that.
