FanDuel Picks For July 11

More from DFS

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel Picks for July 11:

Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options

Jul 6, 2015; Chicago, IL, USA; St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher John Lackey (41) pitches against the Chicago Cubs during the second inning at Wrigley Field. Mandatory Credit: Kamil Krzaczynski-USA TODAY Sports

Pitcher Options:

C.J. Wilson, Angels ($7,300): Wilson has been pretty good in four of his last five starts. He is a pretty solid option for the price to draft him to your lineup. Wilson is probably the guy I will be using in all of my lineups on Saturday. He has a pretty good match-up and usually pitches well on the road.

John Lackey, Cardinals ($8,800):  You can normally plug anyone from the Cardinals’ pitching staff into your lineup and feel good about it. Lackey has been pretty consistent and will almost certainly put up double-digit fantasy points. Lackey is facing a pretty tough lineup with the Pirates and in Pittsburgh, but he should be up to the task.

Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options

Jul 7, 2015; Seattle, WA, USA; Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano (22) speaks with a teammate during batting practice before a game against the Detroit Tigers at Safeco Field. Mandatory Credit: Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

Infield Hitter Options:

Robinson Cano, Mariners ($3,100): Cano has not been the same guy we remember from years ago with the Yankees, but he still has some power and has hit a few home runs over the past few weeks. He seems to be heating up and the numbers back that up. Cano has also moderate success against Wilson having hit for a .273 average with an RBI and seven walks.

David Freese, Angels ($2,500) Now we are going to save you some money in order to use your favorite big name player. Freese has been playing well enough lately to roster here and there in some daily leagues. The key to hitting money in these leagues is being able to find some cheaper players who can get you three to four fantasy points for around this price tag. Freese has a decent .304 average against Hisashi Iwakuma with a homer and two RBI.

  • Alejandro De Aza, Red Sox ($3,300): De Aza has been playing really well lately and now he gets the treat of facing off against Ivan Nova, who he has batted for a .714 average against. Now that is in only seven at-bats, but with his price tag, the way he is playing and everything else it makes the odds on De Aza well worth the gamble.

Nelson Cruz, Mariners ($3,300): Here is another nicely priced option that has been playing well and has had solid success against his opponent tomorrow. For his career against Wilson, Cruz has went 7/16 for a .438 average with a homer and two RBI.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
