It’s the middle of July, so you know what that means: Las Vegas Summer League. Team Friendly Bounce is out here in Vegas catching all the action, and each night we’ll bring you a recap of what went down. Let’s get into it.

Games:

New Orleans Pelicans 101 – Milwaukee Bucks 89

Toronto Raptors 90 – Sacramento Kings 68

Denver Nuggets 86 – Atlanta Hawks 71

Minnesota Timberwolves 81 – Los Angeles Lakers 68

Houston Rockets 111 – D-League Select 104

Golden State Warriors 83 – Cleveland Cavaliers 75

Fun things:

Championship team guide vs. runner-up team guide.

Hey look, it’s the weird new Hawks jerseys on display on the concourse.

Hey Slava, one question: WHAT ARE THOSSEEEEEEEE?

Seth Curry showed out for the Pelicans today. It’s crazy how much he looks like Steph out on the court.

Willie Cauley-Stein making a nice little play in his debut. I’m sure we’ll be seeing much more of this throughout Willie’s career.

Julius Randle is still making rookie mistakes.

Lakers-Wolves was LIT, and warm-ups was no exception. Seriously, this game was insane. They had to open up the upper deck because there were so many fans who showed up. And the fans were rowdy all night long, screaming for every single little, and big, thing the Lakers did. Going to be hard for another game to top that atmosphere.

Jordan Clarkson threw down a nasty putback jam. He was very impressive tonight, dropping 23 points on the Wolves.

This Doron Lamb picture is really the greatest. Probably a top five moment in Doron’s career, honestly.

Shoutout to The Starters. A-YO!
