He doesn’t have to be the man in Miami

One of the great things about going to Miami is they are stacked with great veteran players along with good young players on the roster.

Rather than having to worry about carrying the team, an older Stoudemire will be able to slide right in and find his role alongside some of the more talented players in the NBA.

In Miami, Stoudemire will be playing behind Chris Bosh and will have other players like Hassan Whiteside and Luol Deng alongside him when he gets on the floor. If you look at how deep the team’s roster really is, you could make the argument that Stoudemire could be the 7th or 8th man off the bench for the Heat.

As it stands now, with the wealth of talent, several players on the Heat could slide right into that power forward position depending on the lineup. They have a lot of variations to play with, given the circumstance.

If they go small, then Stoudemire could slide in at center, just like he did much of the time he was a member of the Phoenix Suns.If the Heat go big, Stoudemire will be a power forward. With players like Bosh, Deng, Winslow, Udonis Haslem and Josh McRoberts who are all versatile enough to play different spots, it should be fun watching Erik Spoelstra tinker with the frontcourt. Wherever he’s put, Stoudemire won’t ever have to worry about being the guy.
