Late Lineup

Players from the three games starting at 10:05 PM ET or later

SP-Ryan Vogelsong-San Francisco Giants: Vogelsong left his last start early after being ejected for arguing balls and strikes.  He only allowed one run on three hits, but he only lasted four innings.  He has allowed zero or one runs in three of his last four starts and is 2-2 at home with a 2.63 ERA.  He is in a nice matchup against the Phillies making him a good value at 6,600.

SP-Taylor Jungmann-Milwaukee Brewers: Jungmann is the best of the rest of the options for tonight although starting him in LA is risky business.  Jungian has turned in three quality starts in his six MLB outings while going 3-1 with a 2.43 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP.  He’s been solid, but it’s a tough start on the road for the rookie out of Texas

C-Buster Posey-San Francisco Giants

1B-Brandon Belt-San Francisco Giants: Belt has started July strong going 10-26 (.385) to go with five doubles and three RBI.

2B-Robinson Cano-Seattle Mariners: Cano’s overall numbers are still low, but he has shown signs of turning things around early this month going 16-44 (.364) with four doubles, two homers, and six RBI. He is 12-44 (.273) in his career against C.J. Wilson with a pair of doubles.

3B-David Freese-Los Angeles Angels: Freese is 10-29 (.345) this month and 4-13 (.308) in his career against Hisashi Iwakuma.  The Angels are looking to get a big win on the road heading into the break, and Freese should be a part of their lineup

SS-Jean Segura-Milwaukee Brewers: Segura has been on fire since getting a day off to start the month.  He has gone 15-32 (.469) so far in July although none of those 15 hits have been for extra bases.

OF-Hunter Pence-San Francisco Giants

OF-Ryan Braun-Milwaukee Brewers: Braun returned from his wrist soreness and went 1-4 last night, and tonight he’ll lead the Brewers against Brandon Beachy making his first start since 2013.  Braun is a role of the dice, but I feel good about the Hebrew Hammer tonight in LA.

OF-Mike Trout-Los Angeles Angels
