3. Adam Jones-OF-Baltimore Orioles: Normally a matchup with Max Scherzer is one to avoid, but Adam Jones has shown he can hit the Nationals’ Ace at a nice clip in their previous meetings. Jones is 9-18 (.500) against Scherzer in the past including two doubles and a home run.

However, he has a good chance to end on a high note as the Red Sox look to take today’s rubber game against the Yankees. New York is starting Nathan Eovaldi who Sandoval has crushed in the past going 12-17 (.706) with three doubles, a home run, and ten RBI. Look for a big finish to the first half for Sandoval and the surging Red Sox.
