It’s time once again to get a look at the players who will soon be tearing up the Major Leagues, as Sunday officially kicks off All-Star Weekend with the Futures Game.

Like most years, the 2015 edition of the Futures Game is absolutely stacked. Twenty-three of the top-100 players in the minors will be on one of the teams. The talent pool goes well beyond the top-100; just look at these figures from MLB.com.

"All but two of the 50 players are on their team’s Top 30 Prospect list. Six are the top prospect in their respective organization. Seventeen farm systems will be represented by a prospect ranked in its top three."

Basically, this is what the MLB All-Star game will look like in the next five-to-10 years. Past alumni from the Futures Game include Miguel Cabrera, Zack Greinke, C.C. Sabathia and Rafael Soriono. The odds are good that at least one future Hall of Famer will be on the diamond Sunday afternoon.

For those looking to enjoy the action a little further than just witnessing the future of MLB, there’s always plunking down a wager. Outside of your local bookie, solid sources for betting on the futures game include Bovada, OddsShark and 5dimes.

First pitch for the Futures Game 2015 will be at 3:00 on Sunday from the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati.
