Mike Trout wasted no time on Tuesday night leading off the MLB All-Star Game with a nice little bomb

After all of the pregame festivities on Tuesday night at the MLB All-Star Game, it was finally time to play some baseball. Well, Mike Trout wasted no time in showing everyone that he’s serious about helping the American League get that World Series home field advantage.

Trout, the Los Angeles Angels slugger, was the leadoff hitter for the American League on Tuesday night to get everything going as he was facing Zack Greinke from the Dodgers. After that long wait to get the game started, Trout made sure to bring the action early by tagging Greinke for the solo shot to give the AL the 1-0 lead early on in this one.

Now that’s how you get the All-Star Game started, and you can see right off the bat that Trout is not all that willing to give up his MVP award anytime soon here.

What’s even crazier about his greatness is that this home run on Tuesday night just showed he keeps getting better and better as his career goes on.

There’s few players in the game right now, if anyone, that are better than the Angels slugger.
