Here you can follow along with all the happenings of the 2015 British Open set to take place this weekend

There’s almost nothing more exciting in the world of sports than a major golf tournament, and this weekend that is exactly what we’re getting with the 2015 British Open. This year some of the best golfers in the world will flock to St. Andrews in Scotland once again to see if they can add one of the more prized trophies in the game to their collection.

Of course, as we know, one man that will not have that opportunity is a man that would have been one of the favorites to claim it, Rory McIlroy. After suffering an ankle injury, one of the best golfers walking the earth right now will miss the British Open, and there is also a chance that he could be out the rest of the PGA season. No doubt, things got a tad less exciting when we learned of McIlroy’s absence.

However, to fill the void of that excitement lost will be watching whether or not Jordan Spieth can continue his monumental run in 2015. After capturing the U.S. Open title last month, Spieth is on a clear mission to show everyone once again that he might in fact be the best of the best.

Whatever the case may be, the British Open always gives us some of the best performances of the year, and you can follow along with all of the action below.
