FanDuel Picks For July 17

More from Fantasy

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

With the All-Star Break now firmly behind us, we gear and get set for the second half of the season.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel Picks for July 17:

Next: FanDuel Pitcher Options

Jul 10, 2015; New York City, NY, USA; New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (34) heads to the dugout during the eighth inning against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Citi Field. Mandatory Credit: Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

Pitcher Options:

Noah Syndergaard, Mets ($8,400): Syndergaard has been pitching really well for the Mets. He has scored double-digit fantasy points in four of his last five games. He does have a bit of a tough match-up with the Cardinals, but it should be a pitcher’s dual and should be good for both pitchers. I like Syndergaard just a little better for daily league purposes though.

Jorge De La Rosa, Rockies ($6,600): Whenever I can, I like to give you a cheaper daily league pitching option so you can load up with the big name hitters that we know will be difference makers for the games. This is a pretty good opportunity to do that. De La Rosa has been pretty solid in his last three games. He is also pitching on the road and in a pretty decent match-up with the Padres.

Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options

Jul 10, 2015; Seattle, WA, USA; Los Angeles Angels designated hitter C.J. Cron (24) rounds the bases as Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager (15) looks up at the scoreboard after Cron hit a 2-run home run in the sixth inning at Safeco Field. • Neil Walker, Pirates ($3,200): Walker was one of the hotter infield hitters coming into the break. I will continue to ride him until he proves to not be a worthy option going forward. My goal here today is to give you some of the better, inexpensive options that are out there so that you can utilize more cash on the bigger name, power hitters.

C.J. Cron, Angels ($2,600): With C.J. Cron you will want to ensure that he is in the starting lineup, but he should be and was on a pretty hot streak right before the break. He was riding a 7-game mini hot streak in which he had hit three home runs, 11 RBI, and six runs. At this kind of price Cron is a very good bet for us.

    Next: FanDuel Outfield Hitter Options

Jun 26, 2015; Milwaukee, WI, USA; Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Gerardo Parra (28) watches his solo home run in the first inning against the Minnesota Twins at Miller Park. Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Gerardo Parra, Brewers ($3,400): Parra was one of the hotter players in all of baseball moving into the All-Star Break. At his inexpensive price of $3,400 he is a pretty good bargain type of player and makes for some pretty solid odds for daily fantasy leagues. Dating back to June 29 he has a .404 batting average with eight multi-hit games, four home runs, 12 runs, and eight RBI.

Mookie Betts, Red Sox ($3,800): Betts has been one of the more consistent options that I have used in daily leagues over the last few weeks or so. Coming out of the break I want to ride him a little farther and see how well we do. At some point he will likely fail us, but until he does or until FanDuel makes him where he is no longer affordable I will keep him on my radar. At this price he is getting closer to being off the radar, but he is still under $4,000 so that should save us cash for big name players.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you all the best of luck.
