Brett Favre got the send off from the Packers on Saturday night that has been a long time coming

Brett Favre is without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks that we have ever seen grace the NFL. He led the Packers to one Super Bowl win and two appearances total, which solidifies the fact that he is indeed one of the best. However, as we all know, his break up with the Packers was not something that went all that well. There were some people that didn’t think the two sides would ever get on good terms.
Well, they eventually did, and that culminated with the retirement ceremony that Favre was given on Saturday night in Lambeau Field, something that has certainly been a long time coming.
As you might expect, the fans in Lambeau were more than generous to the man that helped bring their franchise so much glory.

This is one of the greatest players of this generation getting the due from Packers fans that he’s had coming for a long time now. This will no doubt be a night that he nor the fans that are in attendance will ever forget.
