FanDuel Picks For July 19

More from Fantasy

Welcome back to the best place to get fantasy sports advice across multiple sports. Today I am going to give you my best picks and choices for your FanDuel lineups that I can. My advice is based purely on mathematical and statistical analysis and I try to avoid using player biases and so forth.

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science.

Here are my FanDuel Picks for July 19:

  • Taylor Jungmann, Brewers ($6,800): Jungmann seems to be getting better and better. He is pitching really well and has only had two of his seven starts that were for less than ten fantasy points. He has a tough match-up against the Pirates, but at this price it is a risk that I am willing to take. I understand if you would prefer a safer option, but as you know I prefer to save my salary for big hitters.

Hector Santiago, Angels ($7,600): There are a ton of great pitching options going in the games for the 19th, but I feel like these guys are the most cost-effective. Sure you can opt to spend over $10,000 and get a guy who may drop 20 fantasy points, but both of the guys I have listed here should be nice, safe options that should get us around 15 fantasy points and still leave us salary for offensive options.

    Next: FanDuel Infield Hitter Options

Jul 14, 2015; Cincinnati, OH, USA; American League shortstop Alcides Escobar (2) of the Kansas City Royals walks onto the field prior to the 2015 MLB All Star Game at Great American Ball Park. Mandatory Credit: Frank Victores-USA TODAY Sports

    Infield Hitter Options:

Alcides Escobar, Royals ($2,600): Escobar is facing a very tough pitcher tomorrow in Chris Sale. However in 48 at-bats Escobar has recorded a .375 batting average with a home run and three stolen bases. Escobar has really been coming on lately and is in the midst of an 11-game mini hitting streak. For the price here, Escobar is pretty solid gamble.

DJ LeMahieu, Rockies (3,200): LeMahieu is a very solid option for us for the game on the 19th. His bat has been very solid lately and although it has only been 10 at-bats he has got five hits against Andrew Cashner. Coming into the game on the 18th, he was in the middle of a 9-game hitting streak as well.

Next: Has Jamaal Charles Lost a Step?

Jul 17, 2015; Phoenix, AZ, USA; San Francisco Giants right fielder Hunter Pence (8) warms up prior to the game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field. Mandatory Credit: Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

    Outfield Hitter Options:

Mark Trumbo, Angels ($2,500): Trumbo has been playing pretty well as of late. He has only squared off with C.C. Sabathia 13 times but has been pretty good with 5 of those going for a hit with a home run and two RBI. That is good for a .385 average and mounts up a nice cost savings.

Hunter Pence, Giants ($3,200): Pence has been a monster against Diamondbacks pitcher Patrick Corbin. He has gone 9/19 with three home runs and six RBI for a .474 average. That gives us several inexpensive options which will allow us to go big with the sure-fire offensive threats and big names.

As always we thank you for stopping by and wish you FanDuelers the best of luck!
