Bray Wyatt needed help from an old friend to put away Roman Reigns at WWE Battleground.

Since Bray Wyatt cost Roman Reigns his opportunity to win the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, the two have understandably been at odds. With Wyatt claiming “Anyone but you” regarding Reigns and with Regins looking to prove his power and dominance, their collision at Battleground was bound to be monstrous.
Unsurprisingly, the match started as a struggle for power between the two big men. The two men locked up looking to land some offense multiple times to little consequence. Even with exchanges of blows, wicked clotheslines, tosses into the barricade, and everything in between, the control and momentum was quickly changing in the early going of the match as neither man could firmly grasp the upper-hand.
It seemed like Reigns was about to be standing over Wyatt, though, as he hit him with a mean looking Samoan Drop as they continued to jostle for power in the match. However, the effects of Reigns’ Samoan Drop were short lived as Reigns attempted to hit Bray with a spear on the outside, but instead went headfirst into the steel stairs:

Wyatt was the aggressor for some time, but the match continued to be a struggle for power. Reigns seemed on his way to a huge flurry at one point, but that didn’t last long. Wyatt suckered Reigns into trying his Drive-By dropkick. The result was a devastating clothesline from Wyatt:

With Bray in control, Reigns was able to hit a counter off the top-rope and then almost hit a Superman Punch. The back-and-forth-continued after that, with Wyatt coming out on top and hitting Roman with a flurry of clubbing punches. Reigns fought back again, this time ultimately being able to hit Bray with the Superman Punch. That wasn’t enough for a three-count still.
The action tilted again as Wyatt was able to almost put away Reigns with a nasty clothesline out of nowhere. That led to another attempt at Sister Abigail and another failure. Even after missing on his finish, Wyatt kept control over Reigns and then looked to take the contest to a dark place as he grabbed a couple of chairs. Reigns was able to muster the strength to stop the attack. As he tossed chairs into the ring himself, a man in a hood pushed him into the post:

That allowed Wyatt to put an end to Reigns and score the win. After the bell, the man in the hood revealed himself to be former Wyatt Family member, Luke Harper.
