It’s been an interesting offseason for NBA uniforms. From the Clippers to the Hawks to the Hornets’ (awesome) Buzz City alternates, we’ve seen a vast array of new duds set to debut for the 2015-16 season.
The newest installment comes to us courtesy of the Indiana Pacers, who successfully brought back these Flo-Jo beauties last season. This time, though, they’ve decided to go the Hollywood route, and are going to be wearing Hickory High uniforms for a few games. Yes, the fake Indiana-based high school from the 1986 film “Hoosiers”.
It’s an honor to break this news: @Pacers going Hollywood next season! #HickoryPacers #HoosiersMovie pic.twitter.com/6iC52OSCv5

Pretty sweet, right? It’s a little Minor League Baseball-y, but in a good way. More teams need to do bits like this. I’ll be fully expecting the Knicks to sign Air Bud and start him at point guard or something.
Also, kudos to George Hill for having the courage to channel his inner early-2000s Jason Kidd and go with the bleached blonde hair.
