Gold Cup 2015: Michael Bradley pulls USMNT to within 2-1 of Jamaica (Video)
By Jack Crosby
Michael Bradley was able to get the USMNT right back in it against Jamaica in the first half of the Gold Cup semi-final on Wednesday
The first half of the Gold Cup semi-final against Jamaica on Wednesday night did not really go as the USMNT would have wanted. By the 35th minute of the first half, the found themselves down 2-0 to the Jamaicans and things were not looking promising.
Well the second half, at least so far, has been an entirely different story.
With their backs against the wall and needing to get back into this, it was none other than Michael Bradley that was able to start making things right, knocking this one in to pull the United States to within 2-1 on Wednesday.
Now that’s a lot better and should get some confidence back for this team. Coming off the rout against Cuba on Saturday, their confidence was seriously deflated with the way Jamaica took over after the 30th minute. But now, things could start to take a turn here in the Georgia Dome.
There’s still a lot of soccer to be played in Atlanta, so all hope is not lost just let. If the United States could create some more opportunities for themselves like this, then this will be an entirely new match.
