Reds fans fight over foul ball, dude sneaks up and steals it (Video)

A Reds fan went full sleuth and stole a foul ball out from under the noses of a group of fans fighting for it.
Baseball fans love to be a part of the action. Sometimes we get fans who go too far and jump on the field — sometimes without clothing on — but most of the time the best action at a game is people fighting over foul balls.
Sometimes we get grouchy scrooges who steal balls away from kids, but there are times were pure magic happens when foul balls are hit into the stands.
That happened on Wednesday night at Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. In the bottom of the sixth inning of the Reds-Cubs game, a Joey Votto hit a foul ball down the third base line and what ensued was amazing.
While a group of fans fought over the foul ball, a Reds fan snuck up and stole the ball away after it has apparently rolled behind and away from the group fighting for it.
How fantastic is that?
We are dealing with some serious Bugs Bunny business right here. How many times have we seen this in cartoons where a group of characters are fighting over something while another sneaks up and steals whatever they’re all fighting for away. It’s a classic storytelling device.
This was cinematic magic.
