The Panama players were not pleased with the referees following their Gold Cup loss to Mexico on Wednesday

Wednesday night Panama took on Mexico in the Gold Cup semi-finals, and needless to say this was maybe one of the craziest Gold Cup matches that we have ever seen. Actually, to be fair, this was one of the wildest CONCACAF matches that we have ever seen take place, and it did not favor Panama.

Of course, you know that means the referees were involved because, well, this is CONCACAF we’re talking about after all. But with so much on the line here in this tournament for Panama, the referees screwing them out of a chance to go to the finals against Jamaica stung that much more.

Well, after the controversial match was over, they really wanted them to know about so. So when the final whistle blew, they went right after those officials to let them know how they felt.

After what we saw on Wednesday night between these two, you can’t really blame them fo wanting to express just how displeased they were with everything that went down. Those referees basically took it all away from them.
