In his second stint with Louisville, and sixth season overall with the program, Bobby Petrino is hoping to put together the type of campaigns he had in 2004 and 2006 when he led the Cardinals to 11-1 and 12-1 records, respectively.
The talent in there at quarterback, with Will Gardner returning from knee surgery and Reggie Bonnafon the projected starter, but the real question is whether the consistency will show up.
The offense returns just five starters while the defense returns four from a unit that ranked sixth in the nation in total yards allowed last season.
However, I think the Cardinals still have what it takes to contend once again.
