7. Justin Upton-OF-San Diego Padres: The Padres look to take three in a row from the Marlins after winning 3-1 each of the last two days.  They’ll face former-Padre Mat Latos this afternoon who is rumored to be on the trading block.  One San Diego batter who has had success against Latos in the past is Justin Upton who has gone 8-17 (.471) with two doubles, a triple, a home run, and two RBI in their past meetings.

6. C.J. Cron-DH-Los Angeles Angels: After a hot start to the second half, the Angels have dropped three straight including the first two games in their three-game set against their AL West rival Rangers.  Today, they’ll look to avoid the sweep as they take on Nick Martinez.  A pair of Angels make our list based on their past success against Martinez starting with Cron who is 5-10 (.500) with a double and a homer.

5. Adam Jones-Of-Baltimore Orioles: The Orioles have dipped below .500, but they managed to stop their four-game losing streak yesterday at the Trop.  Today, they’ll look to take the rubber game in Tampa as they take on Rays’ southpaw Matt Moore. Adam Jones has hit Moore well in the past going 9-19 (.474) with a double, two homers, and seven RBI.

4. Mark Trumbo-OF-Seattle Mariners: The second Mariner on our list today is Mark Trumbo who joins Franklin Gutierrez as nice plays against Mark Buehrle today.  Trumbo is 6-11 (.500) in his career against Buehrle with two doubles, three homers, and five RBI.
