Kyle Busch picked up his fourth win of the season on Sunday, as he tries to climb into one of the final spots in ā€œThe Chase.ā€ Where does Busch and the rest of NASCAR’s best stand in the Sprint Cup Standings?

Kyle Busch can’t rest easy until he’s for sure locked up a spot in the Sprint Cup Standings. Needing to get into the top-30 of the Sprint Cup Standings by the time ā€œThe Chaseā€ begins, Busch is not far from jumping into that top-30. Winning four out of five races certainly helps his odds.

With most of NASCAR’s best already locking up their spot to compete for a championship, all eyes are on the final spots available. If Busch cracks that top-30, then there is one less spot available. For those trying to get in on points, Sunday was a dangerous day for a few’s chances.

Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer were involved in a spin out on the track early on that didn’t help either. Gordon would barely get on the track before it was over, and would only pick up two points on the day. Aric Almirola, fighting for one of the last spots with Bowyer, also spun out and his chances were hindered.

Busch now stands 32nd after his win, and is 23 points behind 30th. He will easily get there with six races left to go before ā€œThe Chaseā€ begins, but Busch won’t take anything for granted and will be going for win No. 5, which would be more than any other driver this season.

With Busch rolling and others falling, here are the updated Sprint Cup Standings after Indianapolis.
