Mark Teixeira had a pretty tough night on Monday and it showed with how he took care of this garbage can

The New York Yankees have shocked a lot of people thus far with the season that they’re having. In particular, Mark Teixeira has been having a pretty solid year, which also has some people amazed that the veteran can still play at the highest level for the Yankees.

However, one thing that we’ve learned throughout the years in baseball is that you don’t go out there and always have the best outing, and that happened to Teixeira on Monday night. Even though the Yankees came away with another win against the Texas Rangers, Teixeira was just having an off night.

With that being the case, he decided to let loose on a garbage can in the dugout.

Not the harshest meltdown that we’ve ever seen, but enough to get the point across. It wasn’t exactly Paul O’Neill taking a bat to the water cooler, which may be the coolest meltdowns to watch in Yankees history. But, not many people have the temper that O’Neill did, either.

Maybe Teixeira wasn’t made about his play on the field, though. Maybe he was taking his frustrations out over the fact that True Detective this season is a big pile of waste. We feel that pain, Mark.
