Everyone has been waiting patiently over the past week or so wondering whether or not the NFL will announce the decision on the Tom Brady appeal. With the preseason ready to get underway here shortly, the news is going to be coming sooner rather than later.

Well, from the looks of it, Brady might not be getting the gift that he was hoping for following his appeal hearing.

On Tuesday Stephen A. Smith noted that he’s hearing Brady will still be sitting on the bench the first four games of the season, the original punishment that was handed down for his role in the DeflateGate scandal.

Apparently, Brady is none too happy about the reported news.

It was a long shot in the first place that Brady was going to get the suspension reduced, so to anyone that’s not a Patriots fan, this shouldn’t really come as a shock. But, that being said, the reactions from Patriots fans will be quite interesting to watch.

Smith also noted on First Take that the official word on this will be coming some time within the next 24-48 hours, so those reactions we’re all waiting to see are going to be happening soon.
