Western Conference. Phoenix Suns. 24. player. 66.
The Phoenix Suns should have been Finals champs a few different times over the past decade, but fate had a way of stepping in the way and denying one of the best rosters of the last 15 years from winning. The Suns of the late 2000s were fantastic, but when you throw in some of the all-time greats the Suns have had over the years, you begin to latch onto something special.

Steve Nash and Shawn Marion are standouts from the Suns rosters that missed a title in recent history but there are other legends like Charles Barkley and Paul Westphal that deserve a spot on an all-time roster that would be hard to beat.

<span style=. 1968 - Present

PG. Nash was a stud for the Mavericks, but he was one of the best things to ever happen to the Suns. His run with the team in the mid to late 2000s was some of the best basketball the franchise has ever seen, and he’s a no-brainer to quarterback whatever all-time lineup the franchise puts together. . Point Guard. Phoenix Suns. STEVE NASH

Shooting Guard. Phoenix Suns. PAUL WESTPHAL. SG. Paul Westphal is a legend, and putting him alongside Steve Nash is an insane idea. Not only would the two probably mesh better than we’ve ever seen a backcourt mesh and be in-sync, but his offense production over averaging over 20ppg speaks for itself.

SF. We tend to forget just how good Shawn Marion was when he was in Phoenix. He meshed well with Steve Nash and was a major piece of the frontcourt attack the Suns tossed out in their 2000s heyday. Putting him in a frontcourt with Chuck and Alvin Adams is only going to make Marion a better player than he already was with the Suns.. Small Forward. Phoenix Suns. SHAWN MARION

CHARLES BARKLEY. PF. Barkley is three-for-three when it comes to being an all-timer with each of the teams he played for in his career. The Suns are probably the team he’s most identified with, and that’s for good reason. He gave the Suns attitude in the 90s, and he could spice up a tame frontcourt consisting of Marion and Adams– but a frontcourt that sounds dangerous to deal with.. Power Forward. Phoenix Suns

Phoenix Suns. ALVAN ADAMS. C. He was one of a handful of legendary Suns lifers, as Alvan Adams is a Suns icon and he belongs in a frontcourt of all-timers. He averaged over 14ppg and 7rpg, production that perfectly compliments the accomplishments of Barkley and Marion.. Center
