156.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a rough franchise history. They’ve never won a title throughout their entire existence despite having the best player in the game today on their roster for all but four years of his career. LeBron James is going to eventually bring a title to Cleveland, and when he does he will be honoring those who have come before him as far as great Cavs go.

LeBron is always going to be the best Cavs player ever, but putting together a lineup of the franchise’s best players at every position ends up putting together a lineup that could take on just about anyone in basketball history.

<span style=. 1970 - Present. Eastern Conference. Cleveland Cavaliers. 6. player

Point Guard. Cleveland Cavaliers. MARK PRICE. PG. Lots of people love to hate on the Cavaliers for not having any great players, but they tend to forget Mark Price. Not only is he the best point guard the franchise has ever known, but he’s one of the all-time greats in Cleveland. Price is a legend for the Cavaliers,

Shooting Guard. Cleveland Cavaliers. AUSTIN CARR. SG. You could make a serious case for World B. Free as the best shooting guard in Cavaliers history, but Mr. Cleveland can’t be topped. Austin Carr is probably, next to LeBron James, the greatest Cavaliers player ever, both in what he did on the court and what he did off it. He’s synonymous with Cleveland, and the Cavaliers are indebted to him for their entire existence. Putting him in this lineup not only pleases fans, but puts his talents on full display among all-time greats.

SF. LeBron James is Cleveland. All due respect to Austin Carr, who is known as Mr. Cleveland, but LeBron James is the best thing that has ever happened to this franchise. He’s always the smartest player on the court, he’s always the best player on the court and he’s always going to be a guy you insert into your all-time starting five.. Small Forward. Cleveland Cavaliers. LEBRON JAMES

PF. Larry Nance’s time with the Cleveland Cavaliers was some of the most successful years of his career. He went to the All-Star Game twice, he continued to put up stellar numbers late in his career and was a part of some great Cavs rosters. Seeing him in the same frontcourt as LeBron and Daughetry is something that will makes Cavs fans salivate over what that lineup could do against some of the all-time greats.. Power Forward. Cleveland Cavaliers. LARRY NANCE

C. Daugherty was a Cavaliers lifer and perhaps their best big man ever. A case could be made here for Zydrunas Ilgauskas, but if you want the best lineup for one single game with Cavaliers greats, you’re going with Daugherty. He was tall and lean in his career, and would be the rim protecting center that LeBron James still needs to this day. Inserting this Cavs great into the lineup might unlock a new level of LeBron we’ve never seen before.. Center. Cleveland Cavaliers. BRAD DAUGHETRY
