26. Cincinnati

Cincinnati is home to two professional sports franchises, the Bengals (NFL) and the Reds (MLB). Both have struggled to contend for league championships in recent years but both haven’t exactly been train wrecks either.

The Reds have been to the playoffs three times since 2010, winning their division twice. The Bengals have been to the playoffs six times since 2005 and five of the last six seasons. Unfortunately they haven’t really made it far in the postseason.

Then Cincinnati is less than an hour away from Kentucky Speedway and NASCAR. A little bit further down the road, an hour and a half away from Cincinnati, is Louisville. That means another big time college program, the Louisville Cardinals, and more importantly, the Kentucky Derby are all within reach.

The Kentucky Derby is the biggest horse racing event of the year, kicking off the Triple Crown season.

Not to mention, Cincinnati is home to their own prominent college program as well.
